After starting this blog 14 months ago I have read so many amazing books. I have been given the opportunity to read pieces that I would probably never found. The coolest thing is I have found so many amazing people who love to read lesfic as much as me!

My top 10 books of 2016:
The best book of 2016 for me was Blurred Lines by KD Williamson
This one stole my heart. It was one of those books where I read it and immediately wanted to start back over a go at it again. Easily my favorite of the year.

First Position by Melissa Brayden
Ice princess plus sexy angst with some badass pirouettes. It gave me those little heart-string pulls. It’s sexy, it’s hot, it’s funny, it’s witty, it’s angsty. It was just damn good reading.

Breaking Legacies by Zoe Reed
One epic adventure with amazing characters and heart-stopping romance. This one also has incredible details! A long book that flys by because you just can’t put it down.

Heart Trouble by Jae
I was enthralled by the characters and by their story. It had everything I could have asked for, and even had a little-unexpected twist that made it even more delightful. The plot was delightfully different, in the best possible way!

Trigger by Jessica Webb
An action packed adventure that grabbed my attention and never let it go. An adrenaline pumping, heart racing mystery filled intrigue and a fantastic couple.

Ex-Wives of Dracula
This book was crazy, interesting and super sexy. One I never expected to grab my heart but it did. What sets this book so far apart from others is the dialogue and character development is stellar.

Requiem for Immortals by Lee Winter
Fascinating characters with a story was unbelievably captivating. I could go one for days about how amazingly good this book was.

Game Time (Girls of Summer #2) by Kate Christie
This is the sequel to Training Ground which I liked but by no means loved. What the first book did do is create characters I liked, what the second did was make me fall in love with them. This book is deliciously sweet and builds from a childhood first love scenario to a friendship and then more. This book makes my top ten because I found myself wondering more than one time, where I think Christie will take these two in the final installment. More than once I have caught myself thinking about Emma and Jaime’s romance.

Tokyo Love by Diana Jean
Addictive read that had me up way too late one night. The book has an interesting plot that includes a robot that could be used for a personal love companion. Don’t worry our main does not fall for the robot, that would be a lot for me. No, this American goof in Japan falls for a gorgeous, patient and kind lady that just happens to look identical to said robot. What this book does so well is a slow burn romance that while filled with personal insecurities was delightful to read.

Poppy Jenkins by Clare Ashton
This is a classic tale of opposites attract, and Clare Ashton does it with heart-wrenching emotion that will quickly turn into a smile. Poppy is a true gem, both the book and the character.

Honorable Mentions that are also unbelievably awesome!
Colorblind by Siera Maley
The Color of Love by Radclyffe
Points of Departure by Emily O’Beirne
Collide-O-Scope by Andrea Bramhall
Finding Hekate by Doherty, Kellie (less)
